Giving washrooms a facelift

Armitage Shanks has unveiled its largest launch of new commercial products in decades, including rimless pans, basins, taps and mixers, new wall hung WC’s and contemporary grab rails.

To assist with compliance with Part M of the building regulations -as well as water efficiency, safety and hygiene - the company has also launched a new 'essentials specifiers series' guide for each sector, which leads specifiers through current guidelines and washroom criteria.

Brassware is an important focus of the new product launch with the main features including:
- metal pop-up waste
- clear hot/cold identification that won’t rub off
- all fittings come with 5 Lpm water regulator as standard
- options that include single lever, electronic, push button, cycle valve & thermostatic
- Laminar flow to prevent spread of bacteria
- SPX hoses to prevent bacteria growth
- easy fix installations system with s/steel bolt
- anti-vandal outlet

The rimless pans feature innovative low flush technology that only requires 4.5ltr of water, great for water saving.

The new line of basins has been designed around user needs, with the Contour 21 range reported as being ideal for customers in the hospitality and leisure, healthcare and educational sectors.

The range includes a back-outlet basin in 50 and 60cms, the new Portman 21 bottom-outlet basin in 40, 50 and 60cms and the Contour accessible basin for wheelchair users which is available in 55 and 60cms.
